Just a quick update before I forget
Hi all,
Thank you to everyone who has prayed for us, supported us, and sent us love. We are home, but unfortunately, there’s still a huge question mark hanging over our heads as to what is going on in Sam’s little body. Still, it is such a joy to be home. Last night was our first rough night, and Sam threw us another curveball. Instead of being visibly in pain, he was laughing and wanting to play, with moments of anxiety. The on-call GI was super helpful and patient with us, but it just continues to add to the puzzling picture.
Still, we are going to rejoice that we are home.

So, here are some pictures, including first play time together, Lucy being extremely happy we’re home, and my dog photo bombing my attempt to take a picture of the kids playing.
I’ll do my best to keep up with Sundays with Sammy moving forward. My hope is for you to know that there is a place for Sam and kiddos like him in the church, that you are not alone, and that there is a gift in getting to parent a kiddo like Sam. I’ll also post periodic updates on how he is doing.
Please continue to pray for us, especially Julie and Sam as Julie has been pretty run down and we still don’t have a great answer as to what is going on with Sam. You can also consider subscribing either as a paid subscriber or as a free subscriber, and if you have a rich uncle who loves supporting random people, maybe pass along our GoFundMe page (https://www.gofundme.com/f/e24u8u-support-for-the-dunn-family). We have been blessed beyond our wildest imaginations, but there have been many pauses for Julie’s work, my side hustles, and other endeavors.

Continued prayers for clear direction & treatment that works. Thankful Sam can be at home. 🙏🏼♥️🙌🏼
